Canadian Apple Pie

Oh man, talk about beauty on the inside AND out! Here are the apple pie basics: 6 granny smith apples(the green ones) pealed and cut very thin. Add them to a large bowl with about a little less than half a cup of flour, a teaspoon or so of cinnamon, and the key that makes this dessert partially healthy….. AGAVE. If you don’t have this staple in your cabinet…. buy it NOW.  You can use it instead of sugar in almost anything even coffee!  Okay so combine the ingredients in a large bowl until all the apples are evenly coated. Then purchase  already made pie crust in the market. Place it kindly on a pie dish and pour the apple mixture into it. Then take the other pie crust, place it over, and pinch the the two so they are tightly connected.  Now, your pie needs slits so it can breath in the oven, being the creative person I am, I decided to use a cookie cutter and vuala. Bake at 375 for about 30 minutes. Check it and you’ll know when it’s ready. Enjoy!
